Gopal Vegan Cheese

GO means cow and PAL protector. Gopal, or Gopala, is a name for the child Krishna. To Hindus, the cow is seen as a symbol of the Earth: she gives and gives, selflessly, and asks very little in return; the cow lives gently and gracefully, yet with strength and dignity.

I named my vegan cheese line GOPAL because the cows are my pals, my friends, creatures, beings i love, respect, admire. Like Gopal(a) i too want to be a cow protector and bring vegan cheese to the people of Lisbon and beyond. GO PAL!

May all beings everywhere be happy and free. And may they have lots and lots of vegan cheese.

Happy New Year! Happy New Cheese! We already are crazy busy and the year has only just begun! We have started developing new cheese, we have moved in at O Botanista where we are now producing and selling our cheese & we are planning some other very exciting things. This year could not have started better. We are so grateful! From Saturday the 16th of February we will also be selling our beautiful cheeses at O Botanista where we have also started producing our cheeses in their commercial kitchen upstairs. We could not be more excited. We are honoured to be part of such an incredible place.
